I remember Glynis as my best friend's mother. I spent alot of time at her house with Colette and Kerry and we had some real girlie times and laughs. I remember thinking how young, bubbly, attractive and fun Glynis was, compared to other mothers. She was so down to earth and approachable. I also recall Glynis being quite strict and somewhat of a disciplinarian but now that I'm a mother I now understand that she was doing her absolute best by her two daughters. The lazy mother stands back and lets her children to whatever they want but Glynis was certainly not backward in coming forward whenever Colette and I wanted to do something/go somewhere we shouldn't at our age (all of 12/13). Both feet were firmly put down!! Colette and Kerry always came first. Glynis spent hours making their clothes (much to my envy, as my clothes seemed so dull in comparison). You certainly couldn't accuse Glynis of being the lazy, uncaring mother. Quite the opposite. What a travesty for the girls and the many friends and family members of Glynis to lose someone so young. I wish Colette and Kerry well xx
